Membership
The size of the Wells Evening Society membership is constrained by the seating capacity of the Town Hall to a maximum of 260 members. At the moment we have not reached this number for the 2009/10 season so new members can still be accepted. The new season will start with the first lecture on the 1st October 2009.
The cost is being kept fixed, for the fourth year running, at £30 per person. If paying by cheque please make cheques payable to Wells Evening Society.You can help the Wells Evening Society to reduce its running costs by paying your annual subscriptions by Standing Order. This will save having to send out renewal letters to those members who opt to do this so saving on postage and admin expenses. You can also, if you are a UK tax payer, provide more money for the society by completing the Gift Aid form included and returning it with your subscription.

Gift Aid and Standing Order Payments As a Registered Charity, Wells Evening Society is entitled to benefit from Gift Aid by reclaiming tax against members' subscriptions.
